Air Fryer Porterhouse Steak

Since I got an air fryer in my kitchen, I have started to cook many dishes differently. Some people can say that there is no difference between the result from an air fryer and an oven, but this is absolutely not true!Let's talk about meat, about juicy grilled ribeye or striploin steak, if you have an air fryer, you can cook the perfect steak in 15 minutes.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400F(200C) for 3 minutes
  • Place the baking paper n the air fryer basket and then place steak, add fresh thyme and garlic head. Drizzle garlic head with avocado oil.
Cooked Porterhouse steak in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the striploin for 5 minutes for rare, 7 minutes for medium or 10 minutes for well done. Flip the steaks halfway through cooking if desired to help better coloration on both sides. If you are grilling your steak on a grill rather not in the basket, you don't need to turn it over. Wrap the finished steak in foil and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Press roasted garlic into room temperature butter and add some chopped fresh thyme. Place the butter on top of the finished steak and serve!
